queerspace training, professional development and consultancy services offer training and consultancy at competitive fees.

We offer a sliding scale to some individuals, not-for-profit and community organisations. We are able to negotiate a fee that works best for your organisation.

Complete our online request form and our queerspace training and consultancy services coordinator will contact you within three working days to discuss your request further.

queerspace Training
Three hour training sessions held at drummond street services in Carlton:

  • $80 per person plus GST with refreshments provided
  • Limit of 24 participants.

queerspace Workplace Professional Development 

  • Minimum 2 hours of training
  • $350 per hour or as negotiated
  • Two queerspace staff members will attend
  • Half day (4 hours) or full day (6 hours) professional development also available.

queerspace Presentations and Speakers Bureau

  • On request and subject to availability.
  • Indicate your interest in a queerspace speaker for a meeting or event by completing our online request form.

queerspace Consultancy Service

One-off session free either face to face or on line via ZOOM.
Consultations requiring more than one hour – fee per hour as negotiated.
Package of 4 one-hour sessions: $500 including one in-house consultation coordination, use of inclusive language and terms, policy and practice review and final reflective practice session. Sessions may be tailored to suit workplace and identified needs.

Training held at drummond street service begin at 9.15am.

Early Bird parking under the Melbourne Museum – enter Rathdowne Street – is available prior to 9.30am however you must leave after 2.30am. Parking can also be booked online via this website (includes latest public transport updates)
