We

queerspace provides a non-judgemental, queer affirmative counselling service.  We can help you build relationship skills, facilitate difficult conversations, explore life’s difficult decisions and improve your well-being. Because queerspace staff come from one of more of the LGBTIQ communities ourselves we understand first-hand the importance of chosen family, a supportive community and building resilience. We have specialist workers to support non-binary gender clients and their families.

Our counsellors and case management workers

queerspace staff include psychologists, social workers, accredited family and relationship counsellors, and case workers. Our highly skilled team also has specialists in intimate partner and family violence, alcohol and other drug issues and group work facilitators.

Our staff bring lived experience alongside extensive professional practice as qualified clinicians. queerspace staff work with children, young people, adults and families, and are skilled in relationship work including intimate partnerships, couples, polyamorous relationships, parenting or co-parenting relationships or in caring relationships with or without children.
